Visit the Farm

River Jordan Farm is home to rescued sheep, free-range chickens and ducks, cattle, guardian dogs, and wide open pasture.

From April through October, we welcome small groups for guided farm experiences that connect people to land, animals, and the rhythms of real farm life.

All visits are by advance reservation only (24 hours minimum).

Group sizes are intentionally small so each experience feels personal, safe, and meaningful. We do not schedule more than two groups at a time.

Whether you want a joyful animal encounter, a scenic walking tour across 48 acres, or to jump in and experience the routine - there is a way to experience the farm that fits you.

River Jordan Farm Visit Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By booking or participating in a visit, tour, farm project session, or farm stay at River Jordan Farm, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Nature of Farm Activities

River Jordan Farm is a working agricultural property with free-roaming livestock guardian dogs, farm animals, uneven terrain, water features, tools, equipment, and changing outdoor conditions. Activities may include walking on natural ground surfaces, interacting with animals, riding in a farm vehicle, and participating in hands-on farm tasks.

Assumption of Risk

I understand that visiting a farm involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:

unpredictable animal behavior
slips, trips, and falls on uneven or muddy ground
exposure to weather conditions
use of farm tools or equipment during project sessions
vehicle travel on rough or unpaved terrain

I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in farm activities.

Responsibility for Personal Safety

I agree to follow all instructions given by the farm host and to act responsibly while on the property.

I will wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe footwear and will supervise any children in my care at all times.

Health & Physical Ability

I confirm that I am physically able to participate in the selected activity.
I understand that some experiences involve moderate physical activity and natural obstacles.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless River Jordan Farm, its owners, staff, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, injuries, losses, or damages arising from my participation in farm visits or activities.

Property Respect

I agree to respect farm property, animals, and facilities and understand that failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the activity without refund.

Weather & Outdoor Conditions

I understand that experiences take place outdoors and may occur in light rain, heat, cold, or other natural conditions.

Photography & Media

I understand that photos or video may be taken during visits for educational or promotional purposes unless I request otherwise.

Payment

Bookings are not complete until payment is received: Barnyard Animal Experience, Morning Rounds, Farm Tour.

Acknowledgment

By signing or checking acknowledgment during booking, I confirm that I have read and understand this waiver and voluntarily agree to its terms.
